SRG Technology, LLC was founded in 2006 by Steve Gieseking after 13 years in the machine vision industry.  SRG Technology provides product development expertise in a variety of areas: embedded system architecture, imaging systems, Linux drivers, PCB design, programmable logic, and microcontroller interfacing.  This expertise has been applied to medical systems, industrial robotics, professional drones, and inspection systems.

Steve started with DVT Corporation after graduate school at Georgia Tech.  At that time DVT was a small startup with limited sales but a technology that would revolutionize the machine vision industry.  DVT smart cameras were a disruptive technology that are still the primary technology used for industrial visual inspection.  As Director of R&D, Steve guided the development of the technology and was a key contributor to the electrical and software design of the systems.  DVT was acquired by Cognex Corporation in 2005 for $115 million.

From 2009-2012, Steve was the CTO of CAMotion, a robotics startup which was inspired by Georgia Tech technology.  CAMotion combined crane antisway technology and machine vision to develop a variety of industrial robotic system.  CAMotion was acquired by PaR Systems in 2013.
